Hi: I am researching the Jenkins and associated families (Williford, Mitchell, Ward, Cook, etc.) of Bertie County, North Carolina and would appreciate help from anyone out there. So far, I have the following Jenkins family members identified: Joseph (b. 1798-1800, NC - d. ??, NC) and his wife Martha ?? (b. 1791-96, NC - d. ??, NC); their son Abram (b. 1833, NC - d. ??, NC) and his wife Mary E. Mitchell (b. 1843, NC - d. ??, NC); their son William A. (b. 8/21/1859, NC - d. 2/19/1940, Aulander, NC) and his wife Estelle Williford (b. 11/14/1869, NC - d. 4/19/1936, Aulander, NC); and their son Abram Jackson (b. 10/15/1896, Bertie Co., NC - d. 11/20/1957, Bertie Co., NC) and his wife Katie Lee Ward (b. 2/10/1899, Lewiston, NC - d. 7/7/1972, Ahoskie, Hertford Co., NC); and their son Robert Jackson (b. 5/8/1928, Mitchell, NC - d. 2/19/1988, Aulander, NC) and his wife Annie Jane Cooke (b. 10/13/1926, Wadesboro, NC - d. 7/8/1993, Marietta, GA). I would appreciate any information you could provide on this family and their ancestors and descendants. I, of course, would be glad to share any information I have in return.
