I am having research done for me at the Georgia Archives and have been sent the following information. Can someone help me connect my Samuel to the Samuel listed in the will. Last Will and Testament of James Jenkins, Granville Co., NC, dated 21 May 1789 (no date of probate). Wife listed as Patty Crask Jenkins Sons: Elias, Joshua, Joseph, John, James, Wilson and Samuel. Daughter: Elizabeth This James apparently lived near Oxford, Granville Co., NC near the county line. My Samuel was born around 1780-85. His daughter, Matilda, states her parents' birthplace as GA. Samuel died between 1830 and 1840 according to the census. I find him and family on the 1820 and 1830 Elbert Co., GA censuses. I find his widow, Millie, on the 1840 Elbert Co., GA census living a few houses from her daughter, Matilda, and Matilda's husband, James HOLMES. Can anyone help? Thanks. Rochelle
