My husband is descended from Samuel DuPre Jenkins, born 1727, died 1781. He married Elizabeth DuPre Britton (daughter of Joseph Britton and Sarah DuPre)before 1766. Most of the information I have on their descendants place them in Camden, Kenshaw County, South Carolina, Bishopville, Lee County, South Carolina, and Laudendale County, Tennessee.
