Looking for any information on the family of RUFUS JAMES JENKINS, b. About 1877 Independence, Missouri, d. About 1918 in the 1918 flu epidemic possibly in Wisconsin, Illinois, or Ohio. Married ALMA AUGUSTA MAECHTLE (or MACHTEL) before 1913. ALMA was from Port Washington, Wisconsin. Both RUFUS & ALMA died in the 1918 flu epidemic and their children, ESTHER ALMA JENKINS (b. 1913 Chicago, IL) and THOMAS JENKINS (b. 1916) were taken in by other family members. Please help.
