I found the information below in Missing Links, Vol. 5, No. 33. Perhaps some Jenkins descendant on the list is related to this Charles Jenkins. If there is a good story to tell, I'd love to hear it. Nancy Lynn I noticed a friend wearing an interesting locket in the form of a Maltese cross. The back of the locket was engraved with the message "Presented to Charles JENKINS in his leaving Tubal Cain Iron works After 20 years service By Messers PARFITT and JENKINS and fellow workers generally 24 December 1877." The owner had received the locket from her mother but knew nothing of its history. Does anyone? mhnyf@xtra.co.nz
