Hello again list I recently asked for information concerning my grandmother Laura Belle Jenkins (Gentry). I have alittle more to go on now! Birth records of my grandmothers siblings from an old Jenkins family bible! As follows: John Oliver Jenkins was born Nov. 4 1871 Mary Elizabeth Jenkins was born Oct. 18 1873 Matilda Emily Jenkins was born June 5 1876 Another page which is barely readable starts Martha E. (two lines unreadable) then 1865. My grandmother Laura Belle was born April 1, 1883. Married my grandfather John Gordon Gentry, 12-23-1906. The Jenkins family were supposedly from Hot Springs N.C. or Del Rio Tn. One of my grandmothers sisters married a Reeves and another married a Loveday. Does anyone have Info. on this?
