More information on Dempsey Daniel Jenkins: Dempsey Daniel Jenkins was born Oct 13, 1837 in Neshoba County, Mississippi, and died Dec 26, 1956. He was married to Mary Elizabeth Welch. They had one son named Robert Benjamin Jenkins, and three daughters named Lotha Leona Jenkins, Leslie Annie Jenkins, and Luva Dean Jenkins. If there is anyone out there who can give me information on his family tree upward, I would appreciate it. I believe his fathers name was Clemincy Jenkins, born around 1843. Clemincy Jenkins' father is said to be William R. Jenkins born around 1820, but where I do not know. I have information that Clemincy "Clem" Jenkins had many sons: Dempsey Daniel, Clinton "Clint" C., William "Wiley" T., John F., Doctor "Doc," Willis "Wilks," and a daughters named Caroline.
