Hello, This is a first post in a beginning family research project on a JENKINS family which was from WV. Ulysses Irwin JENKINS b circa 1870s WV was the father of Irwin Dent JENKINS b circa 1900 WV d 1960s NY state. I would appreciate any help from someone who may recognize this family. Alan, There is lots of Jenkins that came to Monongalia Co, VA\WV in the late 1700's. My grandfather left Preston Co about 1870's. Maybe we can help you get farther back where there is lots of info.
