    3. Hello, fellow Jenkins family researchers! The Jenkins family I am looking for is SOLOMON JENKINS and his son WILLIAM JENKINS. They came over to the U.S. from somewhere in South Wales in about 1869-70 I think. I have found SOLOMON's Naturalization 2nd papers in Mahoning County, Ohio issued in 1874. That's all I know about Solomon. William was born in Wales about 1856. He got married in Braidwood, IL to an Alice Reed in 1880 and applied for homestead land in Louisiana. His land application included SOLOMON's naturalization papers as proof of his naturalization and right to acquire land. WILLIAM and his wife, and a daughter (Nell) arrived in Louisiana in 1884. A son, Henry, was born in 1885 in Louisiana. Does anyone know anything about any of these people? I know that SOLOMON had a large family and perhaps married twice. I've been told that William was one of about 11 children. I don't have the slightest idea what any of their names are. Any help would be appreciated!!! Trudy J.
