My "educated guess" is that John is their son, and that Elizabeth and Virginia are Edmund's children by an earlier wife. I also found them in 1860, but Edmund is now listed as James E. Jenkins Household # 270 James E.(Edmund) Jenkins, fishes/oysters.********* Martha J.
