I'm looking for other Jenkins' that may have ties to these men in my family tree. Martin Van Buren Jenkins was born @1879 in east Tennessee, probably McMinn or Meigs county. He is my gr-grandfather. Siblings include, Martha, Mary, John, Margaret, Crate. Martin was the youngest that I can find a record of. His father was William H. Jenkins. He (William H.) was born @1846 in Ireland and later immigrated (?date)to McMinn county Tennessee where in 1872 he married Elizabeth E. Beaver from North Carolina. He is my gr-gr-grandfather.
