Freeman Jenkins found in 1850 Bienville Parish, Louisiana census, listed as age 22, laboror, born in Georgia. Listed in household #337. Others in the household include Rolen HORN, age 55 born Georgia, wife Rebecca age 42, Mary A age 19, Martha age 17, John age 16, Charity age 13, Patience age 11, all born in Georgia, then George A age 7, Wyatt age 4, and Wesley age 6 mo, all born in Louisiana. Purchased 39.88 acres of land in Bienville Parish, Louisiana on April 2, 1860, and another 79.76 acres on June 1, 1860, both recorded Vol. 508.
