My Jenkins line runs from Augustus, Portsmouth, NH

I currently am focusing my research on my g-g-g-g-g grandfather, William Jenkins. I have learned that he served in the North Carolina Continental Line from 1777 to 1779/80; he was a private under Col. Edward Buncombe in the 5th Regiment of Blount's Company. In 1788 he was awarded a Land Warrant for some 274 acres in what is now Jackson County, TN. In 1789 and in 1795 his son Roderick Jenkins sold some land in Rowan County, and in 1802 Roderick sold some land in Tennessee. Therefore, I believe that William and Roderick's families moved from Rowan County, NC to Jackson County, TN between 1795 and 1802. William died in TN in 1807. I am trying to determine William's birth date and where he came from. Any additional information of any sort re either William, his wife (whose name was probably Nancy Ann _______), Roderick, Roderick's wives (married twice I believe), or any of Roderick's siblings would be helpful. Jenkins went by Elisha or John b 1858 somewhere in Pennsylvania moved to Minnesota somewhere he married Cornelia Adams b in Kentucky 1859 Cornelia Adams and John Jenkins lived in Clough Township(Morrison County) Minnesota The only child I am certain of is Ida Mae Jenkins b April 21, 1880 d Sept 7,1917 in Ft. Ripley, Minnesota She had married Dec 12,1898 Delbert Leonard b Oct 18,1872 Springbrook Twsp Dunn County, WI they had 12 children six boys six girls. This is all I have. Hello, all. I haven't seen any Maryland Jenkins mentioned on this mailing list yet, but hope someone out there can help me. I am looking for parents of and/or any other information on Augustus JENKINS, b ca 1806 in Maryland. He married Elizabeth LARK ca 1833. The 1840 and 1850 censuses for Anne Arundel Co, MD lists Augustus and Elizabeth as living in the 2nd District. The 1850 census lists their children as: M.A. age 16 Wm T. age 14 Stephen age 12 Samuel age 10 Charles age 8 (my gr-gr grandfather) Augustus age 4 My gr-gr grandfather's (Charles) 1923 obiturary lists additional siblings among the survivors: a brother, George F. JENKINS, and 2 sisters, Sarah E. LAWRENCE and Ida M. WEST, all living in Baltimore, MD Augustus had at least one brother, John JENKINS, who moved to Concord Twp, DeKalb Co, IN - where he is listed in the 1850 census.
