Dear Ron, I just went to the "Harrison web site in SC" and clicked into a whole line of Harrison's who are kin to Jenkins in Greenville, SC....you might want to go to that site and check out what is there. I put William Henry Harrison into the web browser and the list that came up had a family that was related to him, ( cause I have a Harrison in my line, I "think")....anyway....maybe this is your Jenkins line they mention. Just a thought, Susan of Tidewater VA

I've been reading these messeges for several months now, but have not found anyone working on my JENKINS line. So, I guess I'll post one. I'm looking for Merideth Gilmore JENKINS b. May 4, 1865 in Greenville, SC m. Maggie Lee HOYLE b. June 17, 1885 in St. Clair County, AL. Merideth's father was Daniel C. JENKINS b. ca. 1832 SC? m. Mary Henrietta BRADFORD. Daniel's father was Samuel G. JENKINS b. ca. 1800? They came to Jefferson County, AL in 1877. I can't seem to locate them in any of the South Carolina censuses. If anyone has anything on these JENKINS's, I would appreciate it. Ron

Thomas married Jane Davidson in St John's Church, Manchester, Lancashire, in 1844. Later, one branch of the family emigrated to New Zealand. The whole story is detailed at http://www.gre.ac.uk/~jj01 - so if you have Lancashire or New Zealand connections, please pay a visit.
