Dale, My great-great grandfather was Nicholas Jenkins (1816-1889) who married Susan Boston (1834-1898). One of their sons was David C. Jenkins (1869-?). This David Jenkins was married twice; one of his wives was a Minnie M. Jenkins. This is all I have about her or her descendants. This could possibly be the Minnie Mae Jenkins you refer to. All these folks lived in Macon County, TN. Alton Jenkins

Still searching for John Jenkins born 1858 somewhere in PA One of his children Ida Mae Jenkins was my grandmother and was born April 21, 1880 in Brockway Township Minnesota Ida Mae Jenkins married Delbert Leonard Dec 12, 1898 Little Falls, Minnesota (Morrison County) They had 12 children, six boys and six girls. My Dad being the 9th born. Ida Mae died Sept 7, 1917 just 8 weeks after the birth of her 12th child. I have no information on her parents or siblings except that her mother was maiden name Adams and born somewhere in Kentucky. Does anything here look familiar? This coming August Morrison County Historical Society is having its first ever "Family Trails" gathering for those of us whose roots began in Minnesota like mine did on my Father's side. So I will be going for the first time. Looking forward to seeing Ft Ripley where my Dad was born and of course Little Falls where my grandparents were married. So if anyone else has Minnesota roots and would be interested in this gathering I will gladly pass on the details. Karen

My local library just telephoned in response to my order to get the Coffman book on the Jenkins family through Interlibrary Loan to indicate that the holding library (Dallas) will not loan the book in this fashion. They will make copies of up to 50 pages of specified material. If anyone is successful in getting this book via Interlibrary Loan, please let me know and I'll go back to my local library.
