    3. Greetings Jenkins Family ~ 1. For these mail lists that do not "e-stamp" our mail with a mail list identifier, a brief "JENKINS" preference notation would be helpful. Adding the listname "JENKINS" would help facilitate reviewing lengthy email listings AND provide a means of sorting messages in alphabetical order --> which puts all the "JENKINS" messages together! 2. Looking for the following family members: J.H. 2. In a message dated 98-06-10 01:01:26 EDT, you write: << I have an Ezekiel Jenkins in my (indirect) family line. I descend from an Elijah Jenkins who seems to move from KY to IN with an Ezekiel nearby, both born in VA and both of similar age. I presume they are brothers. They end up living very near each other in Putnam County, IN, in the 1840s+. This Ezekiel Jenkins was born in VA circa 1775 and was married to a Mary b in MD c1778. From census records I concluded that Ezekiel and Mary had at least two sons, William in 1810 and John in 1824 (in TN >> David, I believe we tried to work this out once before. My Ezekiel Jenkins d. 1750 Fairfax County, VA ... he had son, Ezekiel Jenkins, Jr. who died 1815 Woodford Co., KY ... and Ezekiel, Jr. had a son, Ezekiel Jenkins who married Mary Helms, dau. of Leonard Helms (don't have dates for him but he could possibly be b. c. 1775. Some of his bro. & sisters ended up in Hardin Co., KY and Jassamine Co., KY ... Do you see any connection ? Amy Gilreath
