Primarily decendents of James W. and Isobelle Welch Jarrell . They had a large family. James was a son of Samuel and Melinda Whitt/Whit/Whitten? who was the son of Vasti Jane Jarrell and Lazarus Damron. The reunion will be Sept. 2, 200l at the Shawnee St. Park which is west of Portsmouth, Ohio. Bring basket lunch and paper products and iced tea will be furnished by the Comm. Chr. He is Albert Riggs who now lives in Newbern, N.C. We had our reunions at Camden Park which in in Westmoreland for 60 yrs or more, but had to discontinue when they started to charge everyone regardless of whether they went on the rides or not.
