A quick check on Rachel (Jarrell) Ball's family only revealed one additional source. I may turn up more later. Part of what I've been doing is checking for marriages of the daughter's in families - and then looking for their death certificate under their married name. I have not yet done that for Rachel's daughers. But one of her sons does show up in the West Virginian death certificates. Francis M. (Frank) Ball (1887-1965) Frank is a son of Silas Ball and Rachel Jarrell. Both the names of Silas Ball and Rachel Jarrell appear on Frank's November 24, 1965 death certificate - registered in Cabell County. Hope that helps.
