Vernon, Ill. The Register-News Tuesday November 6, 1945 OBIT OF FRED JARRELL Fred Jarrell dies of heart attack Fred Jarrell, 60, former Mt. Vernon resident, died suddenly at his home in·Kansas City, Mo., this morning following a heart attack. Mr. Jarrell was born and reared in Mt. Vernon. Formerly in the real estate·business, he was associated with an automobile agency at the time of death. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, mother, Mrs. J. B. Jarrell, who is·now in a hospital in Macon,(Macomb) Ill., two brothers, R. C. Jarrell of·Carthage, Mo., and Clarence Jarrell of Mt. Vernon, and one sister, Mrs. Frank·Horn of Macomb, Ill. His father, the late J. B. Jarrell was a well known realty broker here.
