Wiley, Hello again after a short absence from genealogy research! I hope all is well with you and your clan of Jarrell/Jarriel researchers. I just received copies of several SSN applications from the SSA, and thought that I'd write to you with the results. Previously... I have written to you about Bessie JARRIEL. Bessie married Augustas Vonley SEMKEN, and they had one daughter named Lena Gertrude SEMKEN. Lena is my grandmother who is now deceased. On Lena Gertrude SEMKEN's application, I found the following information that differs slightly from the above. Her application shows "Augustas Varnlee Semken" and "Bessie Susie(?) Jarrell". I have placed a (?) next to Susie because this portion is very difficult to read. The Jarrell is perfectly clear though. I have focused completely on locating a JARRIEL connection in the past, as that is the spelling that my family has believed. Also, you may remember, I have a picture of Bessie Jarriel/Jarrell -- she looks Indian or Asian -- and there's the story of the Indian JARRIEL adoptee's that is floating around... I have subscribed to the Jarriel/Jarrell lists once again, and hope that someone can help me with a connection. Thanks, Peter Nesbitt
