    3. I just got the following message and wanted to get it up here as quickly as possible. Some discussion on the ListServer is acceptable<G>! ------------------- forwarded message --------------------------> Forwarded from Linda & Sharon Jarrell [email protected] A few months ago there were several E-Mails disputing where the Jarrell's originated from. At the time we were unable to respond due to moving, etc. However, would like to correspond directly with whomever it was that thought the Jarrell's originated from France. My Father's sister Elizabeth (1880-1926) Jarrell (married name Allen) was a Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay, Ontario and it was my Father's understanding that she researched the Jarrell family probably around 1910-1920. Her findings apparently showed that the Jarrell's were originally from France and the name was spelt Jarrelle. At the time of the Heugonot persecution they escaped to England, dropped the "E" and believed our ancestors came emigrated from Yorkshire, England. We cannot find much in England but would be very interested in hearing from anyone who is of the opinion the Jarrell's originated in France. <------------------ forwarded message --------------------------- -- Wiley Alston Jarrell 15610 Edenvale Friendswood Tx, 77546 281-482-3671 <><
