JARRELL is really John Gibson JARRELL and he had a 2nd wife ??? FERRELL. I've seen nothing to confirm this but neither of the JARRELL death certificates name the mother and the 2nd wife died in 1899 before the 1900 census so certainly we have nothing to disprove it, This new data means all of the children listed here are not out of Maude as we've always thought. JARRELL Charleston Daily Mail Friday, February 14, 1941 John G. Jarrell, 92, died Friday morning at his home in Red Dragon after a short illness. The body was removed to the Cunningham mortuary. Surviving are five daughter, Mrs. Archie Alderman and Miss Mary Jarrell, Red Dragon, Mrs. Maude Watts and Mrs. Eva Brown of Eunice; three sons, Ocus Jarrell of Orgas, Sam Jarrell of Whitesville and Leffie Jarrell of Elk Run; and a sister, Mrs. Julia Hendricks of Orgas; 34 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- If you can add, subtract, delete, change any of the above data please advise.
