The last time I posted this query to the JARRELL ListServer was 19 Jun 2007 and Ronald and Virginia immediately came thru with more children and then Margie came thru with a marriage for one of the children! I have always felt that this George A. JARRELL was a descendant of George Arnold JARRELL and his first wife Cinderella Elizabeth KIRKSLEY but the census says this George A. JARRELL's mother was born Virginia and we have Cinderella born in Pennsylvania. We show Ciderella married George Arnold JARRELL 10 Dec 1835 and we only have one child, Abby, born circa 1854. We show Cinderella died 17 Oct 1864. I don't know where these events occurred but it's hard for me to believe that this couple only had one child during a 19 year marriage and then George Arnold JARRELL remarries a month after Cinderella's death and produces at least five more children. My thinking is why in the world would a man remarry unless he had young children that needed to be tended to. I would think he'd just go to the local bars and pick up some sweet young thing occasionally otherwise. Please don't take this as a sexist point of view because y'all know how politically correct I try to be<VBEG>!
