Looking for anyone who has a "Jimma"/"Jimmy"/ James JAMES who had a wife named Phebe enumerated as Phebe", "Feba" who was about 7 years younger. She was "French Canadian" but could also be of English parentage but from Canada West. Setting in Iowa, Kossuth County and/or township area of "Kossuth" including place name of Wisley/Wesley circa 1875 or 1880's until James died and/or disappears. Other surnames involved in this research of this family are DONALDSON, KENDALL, and STOLL or STOWELL. Places of all families origins seem to be the Great Lakes areas and the easy access of border crossings from the Canadian Provinces. Family exchanges of residences in the north eastern and mid-border areas of Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin and down to Kossuth County in Iowa. From Iowa the family seemed to move to Fillmore County, Winneshiek County, and Ramsey County, in Minnesota. 20th Century male line: Glen W. JAMES born in Wisconsin. Phebe DONALDSON married James JAMES. Had sons Herbert, Richard, George, and Russell. As far as I have found to date, only Herbert married. Richard died single in Minnesota and the mother died there also. Would like to hear from anyone who might have some ideas on these people. Regards and Thank You, Linda
