What does it mean when you select the setting of "restrict to your surname project"? Does that mean that the results will be restricted to my surname, JAMES, only? Why do I get many different names? jane
Hi Sarah Jane: When you click on "Set-up preferences" on your webpage you can mark the setting for I want to restrict the display of matches only to my Surname Project or I want my matches to be set against the entire database. Then down below that you can mark if you want the 12, 25 or 37 marker matches or all of them. You have yours set to just show your James matches in our project. You did not have the 12 marker matches set, but I changed it and you have 5 12 marker matches but you don't have any matches in the 25 or 37 markers. You will get a lot of surname matches if you change your setting to read "I want my matches to be set against the entire database." So look at your webpage again and tell me if that is what you see.
