I am so impressed with the idea that people are willing to share such wonderful historical document information such as wills in order to try to hook up in the DNA Project. I strongly believe this is about the only way there is going to be progress AFTER the advent of successful MATCHES! Way to go people! Keep up the good works! Today we are attuned to the way people move in society to overcome economic and family problems. Also in tune with barriers placed by loses of jobs, loses of homes and natural disasters. It's a good thing to keep in mind these "localized" events because they do make one use their imagination in research. There is ALWAYS a reaction to an ACTION whether caused by man or nature. SOMETHING always makes people make choices that cause them to move, even a few miles or across a county line or more drastically, leave everything behind. It may be too many kids in a family for a father and mother to "gift" enough to make a living, too many jealousies amongst children, a death of a parent and a child or several children having to be bonded or "farmed" out to eat, or even a re-marriage where the "new spouse" is not too happy with additional numbers in the household...........not all second, third, or fourth, etc marriages were "family friendly". I am really impressed with all the guys who have shown "moxie" and stepped up to try and bring history and the past together for the JAMES family history. As we all know, there is more to family living than the notoriety of a few or even the good of a few.
