I guess if you look at this: the wife married second to John SNELL in given 3rd April, 1578 that this Edward GILMAN died before 1578 so maybe they goofed and the DEATH of Edward GILMAN of Caston, England would be more accurate than the birth given considering a person can't be born after they marry the 1st time!
