Well just when we lost someone we thought for sure was our distant cousin (John), we found a new one! I'm so glad that Joe M. James' 25 marker test came back so quickly, and was a perfect match to my father Warren James! He also perfectly matches Lee James on the 1st 12, and there is no doubt in my mind the rest of Lee's markers will match when they come in. What is interesting is that there is a one marker mutation in Gene James' line. We were all wondering which line has the mutation, and now it seems certain it's Gene's. I have been working hard to try and figure out how Joe's line links back to David James 1669-1739. I have a theory that I'm working on, and I'm hoping Scott (Joe's nephew) and I can get it proven. I love this DNA testing!!! After who knows how many hours (and dollars) I've spent researching this particular line, it is so wonderful to see it proven scientifically that my research was correct.
