Ann Whoops, forgot to mention that females cannot have the Y-DNA testing done, because we do not carry the gene. We can have the mtDNA done, but this only follows the maternal line back, not the paternal. You will need to find someone in your family, a male cousin, for instance, with the last name James, who will have the test done. This is what I had to do for my Brady DNA. Joan Norstedt
