    3. Hi Martha: Your match was with Warren James and Susan Rosine is his sponsor. WARREN K. JAMES #35874 E:mail: Susan Rosine s.james.clark@prodigy.net Thomas K. James 1848 Henry Co, IN-1926 Indianapolis, IN/Eva McNew Jonas K. James 1812 Jefferson Co, OH-1905 Henry Co, IN/Rachel Kennard Evan James 1784 Chester Co, PA-1844 Henry Co, IN/Rebecca Pickering Samuel James 1754 Chester Co, PA-1812 Jefferson Co, OH/Hannah Smith Evan James b. ?? probably Chester Co, PA-1794 Delaware Co, PA/Margaret Jones David James 1669 probably Wales-1739 Chester Co, PA/Unknown R1b 13 25 14 10 11 15 12 12 12 14 13 30 17 9 10 11 11 25 15 19 29 15 15 16 17 If you look at that little symbol to the right of your match on your webpage it tells you that "In comparing 25 markers, the probability that Warren K. James and William A. Rice shared a common ancestor within the last 600 years is 88.49%." Now that is really a long time ago and not a very good probability. Unfortunately this brings up the fact that my two cousins in the James DNA test are also 23/25 matches and they share the same name and we know they are related. But sharing the same name does increase the probability of them being related. "In comparing 25 markers, the probability that Leasel M. James and Robert James shared a common ancestor within the last 600 years is 90.30%." We know they share a common ancestor who was born in 1776 and the probability for sharing a common ancestor in the last 300 years is only 51.64%. I am not sure that I like these figures. I am wondering if there is a connection to the Sherrad and Ezekiel James found on the 1800 tax list of Wythe County? We have an Ezekiel Rice b. 1777 in Wythe County (Montgomery at the time) and a Sherrod Rice b. 1805 in VA, most likely in Wythe County also. Martha Rice
