Hello List!! I am interested in information about all males born in PA in the late 1700's (1750- 1800). I am sorry that I can't limit it to just a region. I am trying to connect by "brick-wall" relative to his father who was born in PA (and mother born in MD) according to the 1850 Nebraska, Merrick County, Clarksville Township. His son is Joshua JAMES and he was born in Maryland on 13 Oct 1811. I don't have any information that would be able to tie him to anything in the East. Joshua JAMES marrried a Kathryn BROWN born 12 Mar 1820 who was also born in Maryland. His daughter, Catherine Amanda JAMES was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on 23, Dec 1863. At the age of three (1866) she moved with her parents to Fort Wayne, Indiana. When she was 14 years old (1877) they moved by Wagon to Nebraska locating near Clarks (according to her obituary). They ran the Grist Mill in Silver Creek, Nebraska. I don't know if this profession would tie into another family that would be familiar with grist mills or have family as grist mill owners/operators. I would be really appreciative to any response to anybody about any relative that they have in the same time period in PA. I have read some information lately on the List and have sent messages to some people off and on the list. I don't always receive a response which is somewhat disappointing. Thanks in advance for any information. Sincerely, Megan Ferris Lincoln, NE
