To Thurston and all, Thanks to all the great replies I got in response my query on Frank and Jesse JAMES in the WBtS. This list is as great as the CAGLE list I am on. Some of the other lists... well, let's not mention any names! :) The William JAMES I was asking about was William A JAMES, sorry I left the middle initial out. ( Don't think William Weyth James will be the right one) Through family correspondence William A. was said to be a cousin to Calvin JAMES and his sister, my gg-grandmother, Annn Julia "Juley" JAMES. As I have been sorting through much new material (Thanks Mom!) I have been trying to get unanswered questions answered. I have already been enlightened and made a connection on the list to Jean. Wish all of my family lines produced such results. I do know my JAMES were in GA and Juley later moved to Al with her husband, Robert W GRANGER. I have Calvin and Juley on an 1850 Meriwether Co GA census. Now, does anyone know Hampton JAMES on the same 1850 census in the household of Nancy, Calvin and Juley ?
