Jarvis Gilbert James b. Nov. 19, 1827, Harford Co., Baltimore, MD He went by the name Gilbert, and first married Roseanna Gunther, and had a good sized family. Later he married Sarah Murphey, and together they had Charles, an only child. I do not know if sarah was married before this union, and whether she had children before or not. Jarvis and Roseanna's children were considerably older than Charles, so he was not well aquatinted with them. Some of them moved to Ohio, and known to be in banking. m.
