I have a William James of Loudoun Co. that I have no wife or children details for. Judging by age of his siblings and his parents he could be your William of 1779's father William. The William I have is the son of Levi James who came from Wales in 1745. William has several siblings born around 1745. It could be a lead for you. You may just need to seek birth death records of my William to find out. I am descended from this William's brother Joseph.
