Here is what I know about my JAMES family: My great-great grandmother was Hattie (Harriett) B. LEHEW b. ca 1863 Jefferson county, Indiana, daughter of John LAHUE and Josie (Josephine) JAMES. From Census records I found Josie was born ca 1845 in Ohio. I found a John ( b. ca 1797 PA) and Mary ( b. ca 1811 NY) JAMES in Jefferson County, Indiana in the 1860 Census with children: Josephine, 15; Adrian, 12, Charles,9; William, 6; and Clara, 3. William & Charles both married into the Bartholomew County, Indiana ROTHROCK family. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
