As many of those on this listserve may already know, most of the NH James family members are connected back to a James that arrived at Barnstable MA in the 1600's. Please contact Ann Morton at [email protected], she is a genealogist working on the descendants of the James family of New England, particularly with regard to the restoration of the James house in Hampton, NH and the formation of a new James house society to be comprised of descendants. Also, you may be interested in the USGenWeb project for Deerfield, NH (see http://w3.nai.net/~lmerrell/deerfield.html). There is also, through the New Hampshire GenWeb page, links to cemeteries. If you look for Ye Old Cemetery, you'll find a huge James burial ground.
