Hi Folks, This is my husband's James line. Fielding James( our brick wall) b. before 1775 as he was listed as 45+ on the 1820 census of Old Pendleton District later Anderson County, SC. Family tradition is that he was from VA. We need parents, siblings, home town, anything. His wife was Rhoda Durham(unknown birth,parents or origin) and we have only two children listed: Patty b ca 1811 and married Mack Loveland and John James b. ca 1801 and married to Rachel Kelly(Belton, Anderson Co,SC). All our James stayed in the Brushy Creek section of Anderson Co. until recently. John and Rachel had 11 known children and one son Thomas Elias James,MD.(b.1845) is my husband's greatgrandfather.
