Roll call is a great idea...it means that we all RE-post our JAMES surname info in case anyone is related that recently joined....OK, I'll play through...here's my JAMES info: Looking for list of the children of one Israel JAMES who was born 3 Sept 1783 in Richmond or Anson Co, NC to parents, John JAMES IV and Mary PIERCE. Israel married a Pharoba MORRIS abt 1806. Am trying to place my gg-grandfather as the son of Israel JAMES. My gg-grandfather is Israel JAMES (maybe Jr.) and was born in 1808 somewhere in NC. He shows up in records (marriage) in Cumberland Co, NC married in 1834 to Ann JONES. Children to my Israel JAMES were: Joseph, William, Robert, Sarah, all born in Cumberland Co, NC.
