Rachel and her husband Richard POWELL were married in Claiborne Co., and both died in Lafayette Co., but some of their children married CARYs and/or went to Oregon. I already knew of a CARY/LYNCH connection, didn't know there was also a JAMES/LYNCH connection. Anna (JAMES) CARY was born 9 Mar 1807 in Claiborne Co., married Armenius CARY 27 Nov 1825 in Lafayette Co., MO and died 13 Dec 1884 in Crawfordsville, Linn Co., OR. Armenius's sister Sarah Ann CARY married David LYNCH; I am told this was in Claiborne Co., TN. David LYNCH died in Jackson Co., MO in 1834. I do not know if Armenius and Anna CARY attended Lone Jack Baptist Church, but I know that Armenius's mother, Rebecca (BUTLER) CARY, was a member there. I believe that Berry JAMES's wife was Piety ROSS, from Lafayette Co. land records that I have examined. Based on a very brief telephone conversation with a Berry JAMES descendant, I feel that he may be a brother of Anna. A list of Berry's children might be helpful, but I have been unable to get one as of yet. Can you help me?
