I am looking for information and have information to share on relations of Thomas C and Mollie Downey JAMES. Thomas was born about 1745 in Oldenburg, Germany and died in 1822 in Jennings Co, IN and is buried in Hopewell Cemetery there. Thomas fought in the Revolutionary War as a PVT PS-PA in Lieut. Isaac Anderson's company and alot of the men in his unit were captured or killed in Indiana. His great-grandson Thomas Jefferson James (b 1830 Vigo Co, IN-d. 1899 Champaign Co, IL) fought in the Civil War in Company B, 71st Indiana Infantry. Thomas Jefferson James was wounded and captured 30 Aug 1862 at Richmond, Ky and discharged in Mar 1863. Am always looking for new cousins to share with. Robin Bango
