I am seeking information on MARY ANN JAMES, b 1805 KY, married before 1823 to JONATHON DINNING/DENNING, b 1801 TN. Would like to have any information concerning Mary Ann. She and her husband were in SIMPSON COUNTY, KY, in 1829 when their son DAVID JAMES DINNING was born. Other children were: MARTHA JANE, MARGARET ANN b @ 1823, and JAMES DAVID, b @ 1827. MARY ANN and JONATHON were in Coles County, Illinois by 1847 when their daughter MARGARET was married to JAMES N. MINOR. MARTHA JANE married JOHN POTTER in Coles COUNTY in 1850. The family is found on the 1860 census of Edgar COunty, Illinois. During the fall of 1969, Mary Ann and her family traveled by wagon to Nebraska. Winter forced them to lay over in Fremont County, Iowa, until the Spring thaw. By the 1880 Nebraska census, Mary Ann is listed as living with her son DAVID and a nephew JOHN POTTER. This is the last we hear of Mary Ann James Dinning. Her husband died between 1860 and 1880. We have nothing about her husband Jonathon after 1860. If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, PLEASE contact me. I will gladly share info. thanks in advance....Brenda Dinning Easterday _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!?
