I'm looking for information on Charles JAMES born around 1898 who married Marian PRUITT b. around 1904. They married in the early 1920's (maybe Philadelphia, Pa.) Together they had three children Charles JAMES Jr. born June 1922 in Freedmen's Hospital, Washington, D.C. and two others. Charles JAMES Sr. was said to have worked in the Hospital. He had 1 brother that I know of (there could have been more siblings) (First name unknown) James married Lillie Belle James (maiden name unknown) Marian PRUITT was the daughter of Jeremiah PRUITT She had 2 sisters & 1 brother (that I know of) Florence PRUITT b. 8/1896 d. 12/1984 who married Solomon JACKSON in Philadelphia and Zetta Mae Pruitt Jacob PRUITT (served in WW1, 812th Pioneer Infantry, Camp Grant Illinois) In November of 1998 Jacob's picture was featured on an AT&T ad in the Jet magazine in his army uniform. I'm trying to find out how they got that picture. The Pruitt family were long time members of Second Baptist Church in Frankford, Phila.
