My GGGF James James has an unknown birth and death date and place. However, in 1838 he married in Southampton County, VA Sarah "Sally" M. Harrison b 1821. In the 1840 census for that county there is a James James residence containing numerous males but only two females, one a child and the other in the age grouping that would include Sarah. If this is my James James family, it is the only record I know of that James and Sarah lived together. The 1850 census shows Sarah living with her mother Catherine C.Harrison b 1800 VA along with Sarah's siblings and three of her four children(all males). The fourth son was my GGF James Edwin James b ca1845. Neither my GGF nor Sarah's husband James James is anywhere to be found. The people in that household(Catherine C.
