Dear Fellow Searchers, I am searching for information on parents, children and siblings of Bartlett JAMES (born circa 1770 in VA, died 1845 in Smith Co, TN) and Sarah "Sally" ROLINGS (born circa 1769 in VA, died circa 1855 in Smith Co, TN). They were married 16 March 1791 in Halifax Co, VA. They also lived in Montgomery Co, NC. Their son Daniel JAMES (b circa 1799 in NC, d Jan 1854 in Crittenden Co, KY) and his wife Sarah (Unk)(b circa 1802 in NC, d 2 Oct 1869 in Crittenden Co, KY)were my gr gr gr gr grandparents. I believe Bartlett's father was Hugh (or Huke?) Thomas JAMES (b in ?VA, d in ?VA, m in VA). His mother is unknown. I believe Sally ROLINGS (also spelled RAWLINS) was the daughter of John ROLINGS (b in ?VA, d 1803 in Charlotte Co, VA) and Sarah "Sally" (Unk). John's father was William RAWLINS/ROLINGS (married before 1740 in ?VA), but his mother's name is unknown. I would be most grateful for your help in finding more information on my grandparents.
