Hi I am new to the list, I am looking for info. regarding George Bell, Dumfriesshire, a Jacobite lAccording to "History of the Rebellion" by Peter Ray, he never returned to Minsca the family home, and his wife and son were harassed by the Earl of Annandale until the latter died, Minsca was returned to the family. I have checked the records for Carlyle and George Bell did not go there. Anything appreciated Thanks Brenda
