    1. Jackson in Ga. / Will proven 1835.
    2. Hello, I am a new subscriber to this list. We are trying to learn the parents of Alethia (various spellings plus Lethe) who married William Smith. It is said they married in Granville Co., N.C. abt 1797. We have been told her maiden name was Eaton. I believe her maiden name could have been JACKSON. We are told William and Alethia migrated from N.C. to Ga. late 1700's or early 1800's. They are found in Wilkinson County, Ga. (Georgia, as you probably know, did not have an 1810 census.) We found William Smith's will (Wilkinson Co., Ga.) and one son is named William "Jackson" Smith. The will was proven in 1835. One of the executors is a Absalom Jackson. David Smith, also an executor to Wm's will, married Amanda Jackson. Thanks in advance for any assistance. Claudia
