JACKSON and he grew up in or near Purcell oklahoma...He was at least a good part Native American, thought he told me Kiowa but I keep hitting a dead end in my search. Granddad passed away several years ago and there are no other records that I can find...I am also looking for my grandmothers fathers family, ( SHE WAS ALTA (MERRELL) JACKSON ...we know next to nothing...his name was Merrell(elgi/LG?) and his wife was Nellie Waterfield...she remarried after merrells death to a Jimmy McDonald...Thanks, Mike
