I am looking for relatives that were in Edgefield Co., about 1830. My great great grand father's name was James or John Jackson. They left South Carolina, before 1850, for Alabama. Then left Alabama, after 1860, for Georgia. Looking for any help locating information as I have hit brick wall after brick wall on this line.
