Husband of the late Julia M.; father of Eloise Thomas Tacik and her husband, Frank, and the late Mercedes Ulmer; father-in-law of Russell Ulmer and his wife, Susan; brother of the late Stella Wise; grandfather of John Ulmer and his wife, Jodi, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Steven Ulmer and his wife, Pia, of Seattle, Wash.; stepgrandfather of Brian and his wife, Elizabeth Tacik, and Kevin and Amy Tacik; great-grandfather of D.J. Ulmer, of Buffalo; stepgreat-grandfather of Olivia Tacik; uncle of Andrea and Martin Wise and other beloved nieces and nephews. Mr. Jackson was an avid fisherman who enjoyed his trips to Canada and Conneaut Lake with his friends and family, and was a retired insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at NEELY'S, 2208 Mt. Royal Blvd., Glenshaw. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Bonaventure Church. Memorials are suggested to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 810 River Ave., Suite 100, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
