I've found out a bit more information about my great grandfather that hopefully will help me find more out about his line. His name was actually John W. Jackson and he went by "Johnny." He married Edna Maxwell in Obion County, TN in 1887. I've found their marriage license and listed as a witness for the marriage is WA Jackson. I am assuming that this might be John's father since he was only 16 when he married, but it could be his mother, a sibling or another relative.
